So tonight we have our very last episode. It’s the final step of a long and wonderful journey. A journey that, for me, started at 10am on Monday 19th of July 2010. I know this because recently I found my rehearsal and prep schedule for season 1, week 1. This was given to me when I landed in Belfast for the first time, weeks before we even started shooting. Listed here is the rehearsal where I first met Kit, and the first time I wore the costume that’s seen me through 8 seasons. I’m glad I kept this. I met so many people that week who have come to mean so much to me. Back then we couldn’t have known the journey we’d go on together. I wouldn’t swap that experience, or those people, for the world. Quindi stanotte andrà in onda l’ultimo episodio. È l’ultimo passo di un viaggio lungo e meraviglioso. Un viaggio che, per me, è iniziato Lunedì 19 Luglio 2010, alle 10 di mattina. Lo so perché ho appena trovato il programma che mi è stato dato la prima settimana di produzione della prima stagione. Questo programma mi è stato dato la prima volta che sono atterrato a Belfast, settimane prima che cominciassimo a girare.
Su questo foglio, c’è segnata la prima prova dove ho conosciuto Kit e la prima volta che ho indossato il costume in cui mi avete visto per 8 stagioni. Sono felice di averlo conservato. In quella settimana ho conosciuto persone che sono diventate così importanti per me.
A quei tempi, non avevamo idea del viaggio che stavamo per intraprendere. Non scambierei questa esperienza o queste persone per nulla al mondo. Godetevi l’episodio e grazie di tutto.
